The SRCC met on 5 September 2024 to consider regulatory issues and the quarter four performance reports of individual licensees.
Grant of licence to Wilson Parking Australia 1992 Pty Ltd
The SRCC agreed to grant Wilson Parking Australia 1992 Pty Ltd a self-insurance licence under section 102 of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (SRC Act).
The SRCC agreed that the licence would commence from 12.01am (AEST) on 1 December 2024 for a four-year period ending at midnight (AEST) on 30 November 2028.
Statement of Intent – 2024
In May 2024, the then Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations, The Hon Tony Burke MP, issued an updated Ministerial Statement of Expectations to the SRCC as a regulator under the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 and the Work, Health and Safety Act 2011.
The Statement of Expectations provides the Minister’s expectations of regulators under the Regulator Performance guide in line with their statutory objectives. In response, at its September meeting, the SRCC considered and endorsed its revised Statement of Intent.
The endorsed Statement of Intent has been provided to the Minister and will be shortly published to the SRCC website, alongside the Statement of Expectations.

The next meeting of the SRCC will be held on 12 December 2024.
